For my outside reading I decided to talk about a person that walked the Appalachian trail this past summer. The man that is writing these journals is named Odder. In his trail journals, Odder talks a lot about the different actions of community that we all have by telling the different stories about the different people that he meets. I believe that this is one of the main reasons for going on some of these long-distance hikes because it seems to bring so many people together which makes the experience even better. In the beginning of his journals he also writes about his hardships and how tired he was for the first few days. He also talked about how he go through these hardships and how it made him a better person.
