personal journal #3

Ever since I started college, I haven't gone to church.  Before college, my parents made me go with them to mass every Sunday.  Back then, mass was a way for me to unwind and reflect about the previous week.  I would usually pray to God and be thankful for everything that has happened and to help me through the next week.  Since I have started college, my weekends have been filled with some homework and studying, being around friends, and relaxing after a week of college.  I still believe in God but right now I am not making church a priority.  People would say that I am not devoteful which is probably true.  I am just making sure that when I do go to church, it is not because I have to but instead it is because I want to.
