Natural setting #2
My family has a tradition of going to a state park for thanksgiving. The trip gave me the opportunity to relax and prepare for the last weeks of school. On one day I went and took a walk around the park. It was extremely cold because the park was in the mountains. There wasn't much nature around the cabins because there was no plant growth except for grass and shrubbery. Once I got away from the cabin area, there was a lot more wildlife. The trees had no leaves on them but that also meant there was plenty of dead leaves. This means that if you were really quiet and patient, you could hear a squirrel or two jumping through the leaves looking for food. If you observed the trees, you can see scratches in the bark from deer's antlers. This was a very interesting experience because even though wildlife isn't so vibrant and obvious during the late fall, early winter time, you can still observe some wildlife during this time.
