Nature Setting #1
I never went to the Nolan since I came to CNU. When I arrived at the Lions gate, I took a while admiring the blue waters before going on the trail. Walking along the trail brought me into the middle of the nature. It wasn't until I went and took a view minutes sit and reflect on the nature that surrounded me. It was interesting to just observe the plant life and wildlife that was active. From a distance, a forest can look uniformed and homogeneous but in the middle of the forest you can see that it is very diverse with different types of trees, vines, and ferns growing. The forest can look very deserted but if you look carefully, you might be able to identify various homes of the local wildlife or see how the wildlife interacts with the plant life. You can also see how the plant life is being affected by the seasons due leaves falling and branches lacking those leaves. The only thing that isn't a naturally part of the forest is the trail itself because it is man made but the trail has adapted and tolerated the trail over the years due to many people using the trail for various reasons.
